TSDK No. 34. I Have Forgiven London
A photo essay on the British capital at the dawn of the reign of King Charles III.
Welcome to the Carolean age.
Sir Baby.
I see you.
Sacred monument.
Death Valentines.
Heads I win.
It was a different time.
Unit 2, Shepherd’s Bush.
Take me to your leader.
Suspicious minds.
Escape route.
I, Zombie.
A cabinet of darkness.
Death is a bore.
Brutalist bench.
Silent corner.
Sky spike.
Free Willy.
The face of judgment.
The face of forgiveness.
Afterword
From my very first visit, I thought I hated London. And perhaps I did.
On a recent visit with my family, however, whatever bile and resentment I had harbored against the capital over the past quarter century dissipated like the non-existent fog that enshrouds the city in foreign imaginations.
I have forgiven London.
