Great post! Getting a copy of Amnesia Supplementary now. I worked at a Half Price Books for many years and used take home the lp covers for undesireable/unselleable lps for creative projects. Lots of Lawrence Welk and Burl Ives masks that remind me of the Kadyrov one.
Thank you! Don't think you'll be disappointed in Amnesia Supplementary — the image in the post is one of the least disturbing images.
That's a good use for album covers...did you ever make a Tennessee Ernie Ford mask? My local record shop has a free bin where they literally give away LPs they can't sell. Ernie is always in there. He must have sold a lot of records back in the day...
Amnesia Supplementary was a first encounter with Al Columbia. That is indelible. Asking friends of mine in the noise & alt-horror scenes and I’m told that Al is profoundly mentally disturbed. Quite a talent though.
I would like to see more bears in hotel lobbies, I think it would greatly elevate the experience at La Quinta for instance.
Yes — I enjoyed Curtis' documentary, though I really should watch it again as the details escape me. Maybe I'll take a break from Tubi-trawling and do just that...

Glad it didn't disappoint!
The bear really makes the lobby.
I assume you're familiar with Adam Curtis's "All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace," about Silicon Valley's weird origins?
